Are You a Unicorn?
How many times have you been talking to someone over the phone and rolled your eyes as you heard the lies spill out of their mouth? Secretly you’re thinking….”yeah right, and I’m a unicorn who poops cupcakes and farts rainbows!”
Well, it happened the other day as a friend of mine listened to a client over the phone lie about something “being in the mail.” Really? How often have we heard that one? We know regular mail is slow sometimes, but a month? Really?
She hung up the phone, laughing and said, yeah right, and I’m a unicorn. Now, I couldn’t leave it alone. I had to add my two cents. I asked her, “do you poop cupcakes too?”
The game was on. We laughed for two days about her being a unicorn and I thought, ya know, I bet others can share in our sentiment. I know we’ve all been there. The phrase may have changed over the generations, but it’s all the same in meaning. This joke inspired me to create my next design, which is now available in the blueKandy Gift Shop.
